With an Afrocentric repertoire of Spirituals, Jazz, Gospel, and everything in between, Capriccio Jubilee Singers can provide great entertainment for weddings, holiday parties and other social events. Capriccio Columbus and Capriccio Jubilee Singers will hold auditions for new singers by appointment

To sing with Capriccio, you should be a moderate to strong reader and be able to quickly master lyrics in a variety of languages.

Our singers have a wide range of backgrounds and experience, but share a love of music.

We will perform five concerts during the 2019-20 season on October 17 (Jubilee), December 19, February 27 (Jubilee), and June 26.

Capriccio rehearses every Tuesday from 7-9pm at St. Andrew Christian Church, from August 22, 2021 to June 21, 2022.

Members are expected to attend all rehearsals (no more than 3 misses per concert season), be on time, and pay dues of $250 per year (if paid in full),  or $100 per concert.  

We will follow up with you to confirm your scheduled time with Artistic Director, Larry Griffin, and Associate Artistic Director, Karrie Horton.

Download and complete an audition form (click here) and bring it to your audition.

Larry Griffin and Karrie Horton will conduct the audition, which will take approximately 10 minutes.

Please prepare your vocal part with music provided on the audition form.  Be able to sing the piece solo and with a quartet (other singers provided at the audition).
