Capriccio Jubilee Singers kicks off our 19th season with a concert filled with pieces by contemporary African-American composers/arrangers like Rosephanye Powell, Stacey V. Gibbs, and Marques LA Garrett. “Cry of Jeremiah” is a narrated, four-movement work based on the book of Jeremiah, Chapter 20. This powerful piece will be sung by the choir, narrated by Demia Kandi and accompanied by Dr Collin Richardson on the organ.
