We celebrate the music of Andre Thomas! This contemporary, African-American composer, arranger, educator and conductor has compiled a huge catalog of music over his career and we’ll perform several of his pieces, along with his major work, “Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy”.  We are joined by special guests, The Milton Ruffin Gospel Chorale, who will sing the Mass with us and offer several pieces of their own! Dr Ruffin serves as principal of the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center for Columbus City Schools, faculty member/director of the gospel choir at The Ohio State University, and music director at New Salem Baptist Church alongside his wife, Rev Dr Merlyn Ruffin.
