Board of Directors
As a 501(c)(3) non‑profit, Capriccio Columbus relies on prudent governance. The Board of Directors’ responsibilities include approving annual budgets, monitoring financial performance and ensuring that resources are aligned with programming needs. The Board also ensures that the organization remains faithful to its core purpose: presenting high quality, inclusive choral experience for the Central Ohio community. Capriccio Columbus is known for delighting audiences with music in acoustically-rich venues and it also offers a safe, nurturing learning environment that encourages young singers to develop their talents.
The Board understands that Capriccio is “a family of both adult and children’s choirs” offering opportunities for singers “of all ages, skillsets and backgrounds”. They work to ensure that this family continues to grow, that performances uplift audiences and that young singers learn life skills—teamwork, discipline and emotional sensitivity—that extend beyond the rehearsal room.
