Everyone has a voice. Noteworthy is where yours belongs.

Noteworthy is the newest member of the Capriccio Columbus family — a mixed choir built on a simple idea: anyone who loves to sing deserves a place to do it. There’s no audition, and you don’t need to read music. Whether you’ve always wanted to join a choir, sang years ago and miss it, or simply love music, you’re invited.

Under co-directors Larry Griffin and Karrie Horton, with collaborative pianist Jessica Phillips, Noteworthy singers sharpen their vocal technique, sight reading, and ensemble skills in a relaxed, encouraging rehearsal setting — then bring it all to the stage, including the beloved Christmas with Capriccio! concert.

Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7–9 p.m. at Highlands Presbyterian Church, 6909 Smoky Row Rd, Columbus 43235.

Joining Noteworthy couldn’t be simpler: there’s no audition and nothing to prepare. Just complete the registration form so we can plan for you, then join us at rehearsal.

Noteworthy rehearsals are welcoming and low-pressure. Each week you’ll build vocal technique, sight reading, and ensemble skills alongside singers of every background — guided by co-directors Larry Griffin and Karrie Horton with collaborative pianist Jessica Phillips. Then we put it all on stage: Noteworthy performs its own concerts, including Christmas with Capriccio!

Rehearsals run Mondays from 7–9 p.m. at Highlands Presbyterian Church. The season begins Monday, August 17, 2026 leading to concerts on Sunday, November 1, 2026 and Sunday, December 13, 2026. Dues are $75 for one concert / $125 for both], with payment instructions on the registration form. Members are asked to attend rehearsals regularly and arrive on time.

Do I need to audition? No — every voice is welcome. Just complete the registration form so we can plan appropriately.

Do I need to read music? No. We’ll help you build that skill as we go.

I haven’t sung since school. Is that okay? Absolutely. Noteworthy singers come from every musical background, and many are returning to singing after years away.
