Honor Choir Applications

Interested Singers:

If you are interested in auditioning for a National Honor Choir, please let Mrs. Bates or Ms. Rice know (depending on the opportunity) and look at the requirements and deadlines for each of these. Your directors need to submit your application so you need to give us materials at least a week prior to the deadline unless otherwise specified:

ACDA 2027 National Honor Choirs (submitted through Mrs. Bates)

  • Grades 5-12
  • March 7-10, 2027 @ Minneapolis, MN
  • Cost: $30 application fee plus travel and accommodation expenses

  • Important Dates:
    • September 21, 2026–Applications and $30 application fee due to Mrs. Bates. This gives her enough time to submit them and trouble shoot any problems that arise.
      • Submission files can be uploaded HERE.
    • October 29, 2026–Participant notifications
    • November 19, 2026–Participant Registration closes
    • December 2026–Participants receive music in the mail
    • March 7-10, 2027–ACDA National Conference in Minneapolis, MN; Performances on March 10, 2027
      • Mrs. Bates is attending this conference but will not be chaperoning students.
      • Singers must cover their own travel and accommodation expenses
